Jakaranda is an 18th century building with 600mm-thick earth walls. It was originally staff accommodation, now sensitively restored, and furnished with antique Cape furniture. There is a comfortable sitting/dining room with a fireplace, opening onto a stoep with braai facilities with lovely views of valley and the Cederberg mountains
The self-catering house has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom fitted with a shower. The first bedroom features a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds, and the third bedroom contains a single bed, all extra length. Linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge, and microwave.
