Built around 1890 for sons of the then owner James McGregor, Kliphuis is the “newest” of the many heritage buildings on Modderfontein. Now sensitively and authentically restored and furnished, it sleeps up to six people.
Kliphuis has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms fitted with bath or shower facilities. The main bedroom has a four poster bed and en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and shares a bathroom with the third bedroom, which has a sleeper couch.
Guests are provided with linen and towels. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge, and microwave. A fireplace in the living area is available on cold nights. The unit leads to a patio with braai facilities and offers views of the valley.
